Head of Sales

CorpInfo has experienced dramatic growth in demand for Cloud Adoption Services, continuously delivering migration projects across California and Texas. With a track record going back over 30 years, the most recent stage in the companies evolution is underway.  With further growth planned for both geographies and Professional Services areas, the sales team needs to grow to accomplish those plans.

This Head of Sales role has been created to lead, support, mentor and develop an already successful team of external and internal sales executives to ensure CorpInfo achieves objectives for growth. This position is will be in Santa Monica office and reports directly to our CEO.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Rapidly grasp the fundamentals of AWS Cloud Computing, along with associated services and the technologies within the AWS ecosystem. As part of this, there is a requirement for detailed knowledge of additional Public and Private Cloud offerings, the solutions given and the partner ecosystem.
  • Assess current business operations, deliverables and services areas to create a go to market strategy in line with growth plans and market potential.
  • Take ownership of the sales process from initial enquiry through Pre-Sales and commercial engagement, customer success and account development, ensuring consistency, the highest standard of approach and an outstanding customer experience from start to finish.
  • Engaging with the current Sales team through leading by example to coach, support and drive them to even grater levels of success, including increased contract value through deeper customer engagement.
  • Analyze future headcount requirements ahead of need, hire, train, mentor and develop additional members of a diverse sales team.
  • Prepare and deliver professional documentation, including Product and Service briefs, Proof of Concept, Statements of Work, financial performance and projection reports.
  • Other messaging will include preparing and delivering presentations to both current and potential customers at all levels within the customer, board meetings, exhibitions and conferences.
  • Engage with Partners, including AWS, leveraging synergy and co-selling to increase revenue and deal size.
  • Ensure the Sales team continues to integrate tightly with Marketing, Finance, Delivery and other areas of CorpInfo.
  • Directly engage with company branding exercises both internally and to market.

You Are a Great Fit If You Have…

  • 8+ years of related experience: Sales team leadership, managing high performance sales and technical sales teams, coaching and mentoring them on solution sales and account development strategies through a hands-on approach.
  • Current and relevant experience of technology services, technical professional services, technology led business transformation services across web infrastructure and architecture at enterprise scale. Cloud Services experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Significant experience creating and delivering Sales Operations transformation with proven, measurable success.
  • Experience of working within partner networks and channel.
  • Strong document preparation and an engaging presentation skill set, with solid experience presenting from technical and non-technical Senior Executives and C-suite through to engineer level.
  • Passionately committed to the customer experience, with proven, repeated experience of navigating complex issues and problems to create a positive and successful resolution and an outstanding result for the customer.
  • BA/BS degree minimum. MBA is preferred but not essential.
