Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Santa Monica

Reporting to: Head of Finance

Travel: 5-10% maximum

The Financial Analyst will sit within an established Finance operation in Head Office and take on a complex, rich array of challenges as CorpInfo goes through rapid growth both in headcount, service areas and geographies.

Responsibilities

Rapidly familiarize with the AWS Cloud ecosystem from a financial viewpoint
Work closely with Managed Services team to support appropriate cloud managed usage billing and develop intelligent ways to manage costs for clients
Analyzing current and past financial data and performance
Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement
Providing financial models and forecasting
Assist with analysis and preparation for monthly and quarterly financial reconciliation and reporting, including variance analysis with associated commentary and Board Meeting presentation material
Reconcile and analyze movements in key balance sheet items including preparation of regular balance sheet schedules
Take ownership of the Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables processes
Analyze customer profitability, line of business profitability and track actuals to budgets.
Partner closely with leadership to establish analysis and reporting metrics
Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, economics or related discipline
Minimum five years experience as either a Financial Analyst, Billing Analyst or Staff Accountant
Working knowledge of US GAAP
Preferably from the IT Services sector, you’ll have experience of working in a fast-moving technology company
Experience working in a financially disciplined environment which has regular audits
Excellent Excel skills and outstanding communication skills, both written and spoken
Strong quantitative analysis and logical reasoning
Proven track record for multitasking and meeting critical deadlines
Strong financial systems background, ideally with some systems implementation experience
Excellent time management and organizational ability
Flexible, able to follow through and a supportive, team player mentality
